ISOP brings sCO₂ research to ORC2025 in Lappeenranta
ISOP was represented at the 8th International Seminar on ORC Power Systems (ORC2025), held in Lappeenranta, Finland, from 9 to 11 September 2025, by Project Coordinator David Sánchez and Doctoral Candidate Giovanny López-Muñoz (DC1). Giovanny presented the paper “Exploring the Potential of Directly Fired Supercritical Carbon Dioxide Power Cycles: A Comparative Thermodynamic Approach”. ORC2025 also featured a keynote session and dedicated technical sessions on supercritical CO₂ technologies, highlighting the growing interaction between the ORC and sCO₂ research communities. The conference proceedings, including Giovanny’s contribution and several other works on supercritical CO₂ systems, are now available in open access.
