ISOP partners contributed to ASME Turbo Expo 2024, held in London on 24\u201328 June, through technical presentations, panel discussions and activities supporting young researchers. The programme began on Sunday with the \u201cCareer in Turbomachinery\u201d panel, co-moderated by ETN Global\u2019s Giuseppe Tilocca, bringing students together with professionals to explore career paths in the sector. ISOP coordinator Prof. David S\u00e1nchez presented the project in the panel \u201csCO\u2082 projects in the international community\u201d, which also featured contributions from Politecnico di Milano and Baker Hughes. His other contributions covered international R&D projects on energy storage, CO\u2082-based storage systems and sCO\u2082 heat exchangers. ETN Global also moderated discussions on decarbonisation, international collaboration and future turbine technologies. Further highlights included Baker Hughes\u2019 participation in the panel on commercial and pilot sCO\u2082 systems, Siemens Energy\u2019s research on offshore power generation using sCO\u2082, and the University of Seville\u2019s work on hydrogen-powered systems combining micro gas turbines and Organic Rankine Cycles for aviation applications.<\/p>\n
